Secure SHell (ssh)


ssh is installed by default in MacOS, and you can use it by opening (installed by default), or installing iTerm, a more customizable replacement terminal.


You can get ssh on the commandline by installing one of the POSIX environments for windows and installing SSH with the appropriate package manager, but there are also windows-native ssh consoles available, including:


If ssh is not already installed on your system, you should be able to install it using your default package manager, apt, yum, or emerge.
